Ice Visions: A 5-minute short film about my process of capturing abstract images of fishing holes left by ice fishermen shot in Western Massachusetts during winter 2018. Images from this series will be on display during winter 2020 at the Brattleboro Museum in conjunction with the Vermont Folklife Center.
A report from the World Agroforestry Congress in Montpellier, France, where I was a speaker and program moderator, an op-ed for the Washington Post arguing for greater investment in an unheralded climate change mitigation strategy, plus an assignment I did following researchers working to unlock the secrets of great white sharks during which I got to hug a 5-footer before it was tagged & released, and more here:
My two decade retrospective exhibit in a gallery near Boston “Wild by Nature” has closed after 6 months. The show explored the inherent chaos and beauty of the natural world via three projects shot mostly on black & white film in a variety of formats. The exhibit at Linden Street Gallery was on display from Feb 2 to July 21, 2019, more info about it is here.
